DocumentationBuilderBuilder

Builder

Builder assembles and configures robots for versioned experiments. Work through Assemble → Configure → Test, then save a version for downstream workflows.

Assemble and configure

Import a URDF with its meshes, inspect links and joints, and work with reusable modules. Configure physical properties, joint limits, sensors, and hardware mappings explicitly; a visual model alone is not a complete simulation definition.

Test and save

Test provides structural and simulation preflight findings. Resolve affected components in Configure. Joint sliders provide a kinematic preview; use Simulation for physics.

Save a version before running simulation or creating a training experiment. Experiments preserve their pinned robot snapshot rather than following later edits.

Boundaries

URDF import supports fixed, revolute, continuous, and prismatic joints. Expand Xacro before import. Configuring sensors or hardware mappings does not establish simulated sensor support or physical control. Catalog sample content is a preview; installation from that catalog is not connected.

Follow First robot experiment for the complete local workflow.
